Last week Matt, Mike and I drove up to Dover to skate the new Red Alert park, it took us about an hour which isn't bad but when we got into the shop they told us we needed helmets and they only had one to rent. None of us were prepared to buy helmets only to pay another nine dollars just to skate, so we left muttering hateful shit. I told myself I wasn't going to go back.
Friday night Matt and I got a call from Tom about a session up there, decided to give it one more try. Fucking glad I did because it's a super fun little park with a real skatepark atmosphere, none of the WHY airfield billboard nonsense.
the mini-ramp is damn fun
ceilings are real low in spots, I think I hit my head on this pipe every time I walked under it.
